Rosemary Danaher - Ceramacist, Painter

Rosemary is a painter and accomplished potter who has been an art teacher in the public schools. She sells her work at her home studio and at various art sale events in the Cowichan Valley such as the 2 Bears Tour, Brentwood Art Show, and Visions Art Studio Tour 2007. She will be a guest artist this summer at Rene Deerheart's venue for the Visions Art Tour.

She works in stoneware, porcelain, and raku. Her repertoire includes one-of-a-kind art pieces, vases, oil lamps, slip-painted trays, small spoon rests and Christmas tree ornaments.

As a painter working with watercolour she has framed and matted works of landscapes, still life, cats, and flowers. Her palette is rich in some work and sublime in others. Some favorites can be found on numerous note cards for sale. She also turns her painterly hand to painting with acrylic on watering cans.
