Morgan Saddington has always been drawn to silver jewellery by the appearance and versatility of the metal. Having grown up in an artistic environment, she has been surrounded by various art forms her entire life. Morgan completed the Visual Arts Diploma Program at Camosun College in 1991 and continues to hone her skills as an artist.

Morgan began making beaded jewellery many years ago and made the natural progression to silversmithing and chain making. She describes her work as a combination of old and new. By using chain maille patterns from past times and incorporating traditional silversmithing techniques, Morgan creates her own unique pieces and designs.

Morgan's studio, located near Bright Angel Park, is open by appointment throughout the year. Her work is available year round at 'Chosin Pottery in Metchosin and at Artzi Stuff in Nanaimo.
